The Offline RPGs Worth Your Storage Space
Offline RPGs are a tricky category. Plenty of them lure you in and then demand a login for the good stuff. The ones on my keeper list all pass one test: pull the plug and they still work start to finish.
Emberfall Saga leads for me because its turn-based combat actually asks you to think. Positioning and elemental matchups matter even in small fights, which keeps grinding from feeling like a chore.
When you're picking an RPG for a long trip, check the download size and whether the save is local. A big install that runs fully offline is worth more on a flight than a small one that stalls without a server.
My tip: start the download over Wi-Fi the night before you travel. Nothing worse than realizing at the gate that your RPG is still buffering assets.
