Hollowmere Tales

Hollowmere Tales is a quiet adventure game that trusts you to explore. You wander a foggy town, poke at objects, talk to odd characters and slowly piece together what happened there. The puzzles are logical rather than obtuse, which we appreciated.

The atmosphere is the real draw. Muted colors, soft ambient sound and unhurried pacing make it feel like reading a good short story that you also get to poke at. We kept a mental map going and rarely needed a hint.

Fully offline, and a great one for a slow evening when you don't want reflexes tested.
